Dr. Ross Butler, DVM

Dr. Ross Butler is a dedicated and highly motivated veterinarian from Dublin, Ireland. He graduated with first-class honours from University College Dublin in 2020 and has since gained extensive experience in small animal medicine and surgery over five years of practice.

Ross’s career began with a strong commitment to animal welfare, demonstrated by his volunteer work in India, where he participated in a spay/neuter and rabies eradication campaign in Jaipur. This experience not only enhanced his veterinary skills but also deepened his understanding of ethical decision-making in challenging environments.

He honed his surgical and medical skills during a two-year tenure at Parklands, a busy small animal practice in Northern Ireland, where he assisted in various orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. His expertise continued to grow during his time in Vancouver, Canada, where he worked in a large hospital and served as the primary surgeon for the past 3 years. There, he emphasized building strong client relationships and fostering a collaborative work environment.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ross has a keen interest in sports, having participated in rugby, soccer, and tennis throughout his education. These experiences have enriched his teamwork and leadership skills, which he considers essential for a successful veterinary practice.
